The purpose of this page is to provide support for educators to design learning in the area of Economics and Business in South Australian Primary Schools.

Our Team
Sandra Siladji, Deana Cuconits and Raelene White are a team of middle years teachers working across the region of Adelaide, South Australia. They are passionate about developing interactive and authentic learning experiences for students linking closely with community. Sandra is an Advanced Skills Teacher - Mentor having worked as an educator for 30 years. Deana is an Educational Leader having been a State finalist in the 2014 South Australian Early Career Teacher of the Year Award and has obtained her HAT accreditation. Raelene is an experienced teacher of 20+ years who has also gained experience in Women's Rights while working on projects across council.
Since presenting 'What is Justice' at the Outreach Forum on the 30th of September 2014, we have been working collaboratively with Robin Aukett (Teaching and Learning Services - DECD). Robin believed in the importance of providing a resource to support teachers in delivering a reasonably new curriculum area in Economics and Business for primary school teachers in South Australia.

During 2014 we worked collaboratively with Outreach Education to produce an online learning resource for Civics and Citizenship. And, in 2016 we worked on a geography unit of work focusing on teaching 'geo - literacy' in primary schools.
