Students can develop their own budget Students work on developing a personal budget with a set amount of 'invisible' money debited into their spreadsheet each fortnight. Students set up their personal spreadsheet using excel. They include what they would potentially spend their money on and choose how much they would like to save each week. At the end of 3 months students can calculate their spending and savings. If students receive pocket money it would be a more authentic - however it can be done using the concept of invisible money and treats they might buy for themselves each week. This website is free. |
